Fully automated and unmanned workshop

EASE SOLUTION

Establishing fully automated unmanned workshops that replace manual labor with machinery, thereby reducing staffing needs and minimizing site work’s infection and occupational health risks.

Process flow

Automated Unloading from truck

Upon arrival at the medical waste treatment workshop, medical waste trucks are unloaded automatically by robotic arm to the storage and preparing system.

Intelligent storage & loading

The intelligent storage and preparing system conveys medical waste containers to the loading room based on production demand. A container tipper then loads the waste into a bin that carries medical waste.

Container washing

Empty containers are automatically conveyed to a washer for cleaning and disinfection, followed by stacking automatically.

Bins conveying

Bins loaded with medical waste transfer automatically via a roller conveyor system into or out the autoclave for sterilization and then enter shredder for shredding and finally back for loading the next cycle.

Manual handling poses infection risks and high labor costs

Traditional medical waste treatment workshops require significant manual labor for high-intensity, high-occupational-risk tasks such as unloading untreated medical waste from transport vehicles, transferring untreated medical waste container, loading the waste, and move the medical waste bins in and out autoclave and shredder.  With rising labor costs and increasing risk on occupational health, the reduction of both the manpower and direct human contact with medical waste have become a priority focus for the future development of medical waste treatment plants.
